About the Event
Join Nicole for some therapeutic self-care to help bring more self compassion into your life through yoga. Self compassion is the ability to treat yourself loving kindness that you would a good friend. With the new research showing how the mind/body connection is so intregrated, supporting understanding of self compassion through movement practices can be so beneficial. Whether you are just looking to prioritize some time for yourself, reducing burnout, or looking for ways to relieve stress, compassion movement practice can help you find ways to meet your needs.Â
In this class:
- Practice using mindfulness and simple breathing exercises to repattern your nervous system, reduce stress, and create more self compassion.
- Use movement practices learn how to embody self compassion.
- Â Create self compassion habits and practices so then when you are struggling, you have some specific movement techiques to support yourself better.Â
Nicole Von Chorus is a  certified and endorsed CWY 200 hour yoga teacher and registered clinical counsellor. She is currently teaching a course on Mindful Self Compassion and offering ways to use the body to learn how to better your mental health through self compassion.Â
