About the Event
Maintaining your body is one of the best gifts you can give yourself, so let's start off 2023 by turning intention into action!
Join Erin Jacob and Jim Heppner this January for a 3-week series of classes dedicated to strengthening and toning our core, hips, and thighs. These classes will be fun, informative, and designed to create a healthy challenge that meets you were you are at, regardless of where that is!
In this series you will:
- Strengthen your Core. Underneath all that turkey and stuffing is a suppressed six pack waiting to be liberated!
- Build Buns & Thighs of Steel! Improves balance, stability, and joint support for all your 2023 needs.
- Boost Immunity. Your immune system is adaptive, and is only as fit as your body! Immune system push-ups anyone?
- Poop Better. Hopefully not immediately, but heh, at least you're at home! Seriously though, these exercises are indeed great for improving digestion.
- Probably have a hard time getting out of bed the next day! But in a good way! We promise ;)
This workshop is accessible for most, even if you have never worked out before!
Erin and Jim will be offering and demonstrating these strengthening techniques beginning with a gentle variation that is safe and accessible, and also intermediate and advanced variations for all the core enthusiasts out there. It's not about where you start, its about how you do it! This workshop will focus on learning correct alignment and technique, and will teach you how to work at a level that is safe and productive for your body.
This workshop will be offered virtually online through Zoom. Enjoy working out from the comfort of your own home with the added benefit of the quality instruction and peer support we can only enjoy in a live event!

Meet your hosts: Jim & Erin
Erin Jacob has been studying yoga for over 15 years, and founded Centered Within Yoga in 2008. She is a registered Yoga Therapist (C-IATY) under the International Association of Yoga Therapy, an E-RYT500 and a YACEP Continuing Education Services Provider under the Yoga Alliance. She has helped thousands of students work through a wide range of injuries and health conditions, and has found her passion in teaching others about the healing powers which exist inherently within us all. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing and teaching Acro-Yoga to have some fun connecting, laughing, and enjoying time spent with her community and is an avid nature enthusiast.
Jim Heppner began his movement practice in the world of traditional martial arts. After training and teaching for many years he found his love for yoga after attending his first Acro-Yoga class. It presented a challenge the likes of which he had never experienced, and before long he found himself attending all types of yoga classes and having all kinds of fun. He completed his RYT200 and Acro-Yoga teacher training and is now directing his education into the realm of Therapeutic Care. Jim’s great sense of humor, enthusiasm, and attention to detail make his class an experience like no other. Be ready to laugh, move, and have a great time!
