Sleep is critical element of human health and wellness and it is a far more active process than most realize! During our sleep cycle we repair damaged tissues and heal the body, regenerate our cellular structures, boost our immune system, clean out our systems and detox, produce large number of anti-inflammatory proteins, rest our heart, consolidate our memories, recharge our brain, balance our hormones, and reduce stress in the mind and body. From the alignment of your neck, to the function of your shoulders, the way you breathe, and the mobility of your lower back, pelvis, and even your feet, your ribcage plays a major role in how the entire body experiences balance and movement. Using a combination of decompression, fascial rolling, and stretching techniques, this class will help you to restore the natural mobility of your ribcage, breathe better, reduce stress, and relieve pain in your upper back, shoulders, ribs, and neck!
