Meet our Teachers: Astika Rose

The CWY teaching team is very excited to welcome Astika back to our team! Many of you may recognize her from her previous name: Amy MacDonald!

Astika is a yoga teacher, hypnotherapist, and mother. She started her yoga journey at Centered Within Yoga in 2012. She instantly fell in love with yoga after spending her life as a dancer. Astika connected to her inner healer with yoga. She knew that she wanted to help others connect to their own inner healer too. After receiving her 200 hr teacher training, she continued to train extensively with Erin, to dive deeper into learning about the human body and biomechanics, as well the philosophies of yoga. She likes to tie everything into the classes she guides, while creating a relaxing and peaceful setting and atmosphere. She is so grateful to be part of the Centered Within community and looks forward to building connections!
