It is with a heavy heart that we are sad to let you all know that Patty Bojczuk has passed away. She was silently battling cancer and passed with her loving family by her side. Patty has been a dear friend and mentor of CWY and me personally as a friend for many years. The wisdom and gifts she brought into our community have changed the lives of countless numbers of people, empowering them with the strength and courage to challenge their engrained belief structures and learn to 're-think their lives.' Our thoughts are the master of our destiny, and when we can move past our trauma, pain, grief, depression, anxiety, or any of the many reasons people sought out Patty's help, we learn that we can write a better story for our future by adjusting our thought patterns through compassion, awareness, gratitude, and love. Those who have received this enlightenment through Patty's teachings can attest to the transformative power of her message and will feel the grief so many of us are working through right now. Our heart goes out to you all, but most of all to Patty's incredible and supportive family. May we all make space for our grief with patience, compassion, and curiosity, just as Patty would have us do, and remember that she would have us celebrate her life and love with joy in our hearts, and to find that same life and love within ourselves.
Here is a message from Patty's family regarding her Celebration of Life for those of you who can make it:
Mom's celebration of life will be Saturday October 15 from 2pm to 4pm at Maple Ridge Park.
We ask that people bring a chair or blanket and a snack to share. Come in whatever makes you the most comfortable mom would want you to be comfy :)
For those unable to make the celebration in person, we invite you to light a candle and join us in mind & spirit as we celebrate Patty's incredible life, send gratitude for her teachings and gifts, and send her our love as she embarks on the next chapter of her journey.
Patty, you will be forever in our hearts and in our thoughts, and we will miss you terribly!
