After Madrid we took the train to Southern Spain (Andalusia)
In Andalusia we visited Ronda - a town built on two high plateaus connected by a bridge
The view from the town is very nice as well. After that we went to Granada to see the Muslim fortress/Palace called Alhambra
The Holy Roman Emperor Charles V added to the palace
Our last stop was Seville. We managed to see the week long "April Festival", where everyone dresses up in wonderful outfits, and rides horses or carriages
We also did a tour of the Seville Royal Alcazar (Palace/fortress)
Inside the Alcazar
Outside the Alcazar
We ended on a Tapas tour and a Flaminco performance. Both were outstanding.
Thanks so much for sharing these photos of your trip Jim! Wow! So many incredible things to see in Spain!!
