
Dysfunction in our Sacro-Illiac joints, imbalances in the strength and flexibility of our hips, and compensatory movement habits from lifetime of wear and tear are all high contributing factors in the experience of the most common kinds of hip and back pain many of us experience daily. Stretching, rolling, and massaging will help, but in order to fully fix these troublesome areas it’s important to recognize that if we do not change the movement habits, find better options, and create healthier patterns, we can not fully heal and can not fully achieve our maximum movement potential. This process takes focus, mindfulness, and awareness.
