Join me online this Wednesday or Thursday morning for some great therapeutic yoga topics! Here’s what I’ve got on the menu this week:
Wed. Mar. 27th – 9:30-10:45 am – Feet, Knees, & ITs
Join me for a deep fascial exploration as we journey from the soles of our feet, up through our knees, and into our IT bands, repairing and rejuvenating the key areas of fascial continuity which affect the health and mobility of all of our lower body joints. If you suffer from foot pain or conditions, knee injuries of any kind, or tightness in your thighs and hips, this class will be of particular interest. However, if your lower body joints are all healthy, this class will still show you how maintain and keep them that way for many years to come!
Thurs. Mar. 28th – 10:00-11:15 am – Shoulder Mobility Class
In this special 'Pop-Up Class' we will be looking at the complex magnificence of the human shoulder as we explore and liberate the articular anatomy of each of it's 4 individual joints:
1) The glenohumeral joint - the main ball and socket where the upper arm connects into the shoulder blade.
2) The acromioclavicular joint - where our collarbone meets the acromion process of our shoulder blade.
3) The sternoclavicular joint - where our collarbone meets our sternum.
4) The scapulothoracic joint - where our shoulder blade glides over our ribcage.
In this class we will learn how to release adhesions and restrictions which block movement in each of these joints through stretching and fascial rolling, and will learn mobility exercises to balance and improve the movement relationships available between them. This class is sure to expand your understanding of how your shoulders work, and most importantly, how to care for them!
