Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported 8 week course designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. With all stressors in this modern age, learning how to be our own best support is essential and research shows that self-compassion is the top way to do so.
This course will benefit anyone who:
- Wants improve emotional strength and resiliency
- Learn to manage difficult emotions
- Reduce self-criticism
- Offer forgiveness/kindness to the self
- Reduce caregiver burnout/ improve self-care
What we will learn:
- What is self-compassion, mindfulness and the relation
- How to practice and utilize self-compassion for different challenges
- Reflection exercises & mindfulness practices to support daily practice
No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is required. We will be incorporating yoga throughout the course to learn to embody self compassion and learn useful techniques to help create healthy new patterns and pathways of understanding.
